Our meadow and its edges are the chief sources of nature-y bits for my weekly rainbows. It looks overwhelmingly green, but on closer inspection it is brimming with color.
The following quote by George Selden (in Chester Cricket's New Home), is a perfect summation of the delight I find in spotting these small, easily overlooked treasures:
Occasionally, when collecting bright bits for the weekly rainbow, I end up with several objects representing each color. I'm delighted to have one such image included in the new issue of Taproot. I can't wait to see it!
