I'm going to Laura's today and we're doing some holiday crafting together and it reminded me that I've offered a few free knitting patterns over the years that would be great holiday decorations, so here's a quick round up:
Gnome Children- I love these. They are a quick and easy introduction to felting by hand. These little guys are posable and sturdy, they'd be nice for little toys, ornaments or seasonal table set-ups. Here they are on Ravelry.
Jack Frost- By himself, he'd be a great ornament or stocking stuffer. He's been visiting my house daily this week. This pattern would also be a great start for making a knitted but not felted little gnome or Santa. Hmm. I may have to try a Santa this week...
Fuzzy Firs- These were one of the first things I designed and I still like them. They stand on their own, so they'd be great on a mantle or shelf.
Finally, if you'd like to buy an ornament pattern, don't forget about my Diorama ornaments.
They are so quick and fun to make. Check out the great ones other people made!
On Friday, I'll share a round up of free knitting patterns for toys and gifts.
