This morning looked like this:
Knitting the sleeves of my Idlewood sweater on double pointed needles. Not too long ago I would have been anxious/mystified at the prospect-now I find I enjoy knitting in the round-it is so speedy, tidy and seamless. And wow-sleeves on a short sleeve sweater don't take very long! I haven't blocked it yet, and I'm tempted not to-I just want to wear it:
I'm really happy with how this sweater turned out-it is so cozy, wooly-yet trim. I've decided (for now) to leave it as is without attaching the Noro mitts.
Earlier this week I started a sweet little project with leftover bits of Noro sock yarn. I love it so much I want to use every scrap! This is my first try at stripes:
The pattern is the Kerchief Scarf from Last Minute Knitted Gifts-although since I am using sock yarn and #4 needles I wouldn't consider this a last minute gift! I'm just going to keep knitting until I run out of yarn-I'm curious to see how big it will get.
