Kempton Dispatch: Thursday
Katie
Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 04:17PM It's been drippy and gray for three days straight. We're staying close to the house and the big news of the day is that Laura's baking some pies and the boys discovered (and caught!) fat tadpoles in the creek. I trimmed a birch twig and made some buttons for my sweater and sewed them on, finally catching up with Laura- her sweater's been done for a few weeks.
So here they are- our Garter Yoke Cardigans, blogged about here and there see those posts for details about the yarn and pattern we used. Our first 2-person knit-a-long is complete!

Super impressed, as always. You guys look great in your new sweaters and I love seeing some boots make an appearance, yay fall! Kate, I think your buttons came out really cool.
Come home soon!
Such beautiful cardigans! I think I need to convince my twin to do this with me (which won't be hard!), it would be a great push to do my first sweater. Thanks for the inspiration!
Beautiful! and congratulations! You 2 are an inspiration to set high but realistic goals and then reach them. Thanks so much for being around.
Thanks Abby, Adriane and Teresa. It was a good motivation to work together, if it wasn't a shared project, mine would be languishing for sure.
