Yesterday I highlighted the naturally dyed yarn, but there was also a lot of natural wool and handspun linen to be had at the auction.
There are dozens of hanks of wool tagged with the estimated yardage.
Finely spun linen,
More bits of linen and wool, and
some twine and cord.
I am hoping to dye some of the linen and try some sashiko style embroidery. Laura's been swatching the wool, there is plenty for a few sweaters. It's a privilege to use these materials that someone else carefully made. Here's one more shot of most of the collection, airing out on the porch-
