Daily Knitting

Finally! Some knitting to share- just a teensy bit today, but I'm ramping up for some serious cool-weather knitting. I meant to show you my newest knitting work in progress but it knit up so quickly I have a finished project to share instead.

We are just starting the year at our local homeschool cooperative and I like to have knitting to work on when we spend our day there. I cast-on while the parents were meeting with our lovely math tutor, making plans for the beginner math class. I worked on it while talking with the 9-11 year-old group, figuring out our science and history projects for the year. I knitted some more while reading books to a tired Avery, and finished it at home in bed.

It's the ever-popular Felicity, though I changed things quite a bit to accommodate my yarn, Malabrigo Silky Wool. The hat has just the right amount of slouch and should get me through the Autumn and early Winter just fine. Now I just need to figure out what to bring to co-op next week, maybe I could finally finish these socks
