Carving love

I am happy to tell you that I have a guest post up today over at A Bit of This and a Bit of That. It's a tutorial for carving some fresh radishes-

I am always a sucker for the "French Breakfast" variety when pouring over the seed catalog in January, so it was fun to make a pretend variety. Jo's hosting a month-long "New Skills Festival,"there are many great projects and tutorials going on over on her blog.

Also, late last week Ohdeedoh featured my carving tutorials, it was a really nice write-up!

I'm planning the next series of carving tutorials, so if you have any ideas of vegetables you would like to see, please leave a comment with your preference.

Hello! I just discovered your blog and I am so smitten. The leather, the carving, the sandals(!)... I mean, it's just all so great! I actually have a moderate stash of leather and am hoping to make that belt that you have in your banner. I'll have to wing it, but it's too beautiful not to try! Thanks for all the inspiration!
p.s. I'm also biased toward your site because I'm a twin!

Adriane thanks for your generous compliment and it's always nice to hear from another twin! Let me know if you have trouble with the belt design- I can take a few more photos of it, it's pretty simple.
