I need clothes.

If I am soon going have stylish handmade shoes, (my flip flops worked fairly well, the straps stretched but they still look nice- more on them soon...) I am going have to step up my wardrobe game. I am tired of my jeans and t-shirt uniform and would like to buy and make some new clothes.

I know I'm going to need more than sweaters, but Isa at The Owl Sisters designed and is giving away the pattern for the lovely Muse

It looks like something that would be stylish and cozy.

I would like to try some sewing and make Angry Chicken's 5 Minute Skirt and Wool Leggings. Laura and I may soon have a serger to play around with, I am going to wait for that before I try Amy's tutorials.

For this summer and fall, I would like some churidar leggings. Plain cotton is bias cut for leggings that are tight around the ankle and roomy in the waist. Like these from Toast:

There is a Folkwear pattern for them, but I also found a tutorial for drafting  and sewing your own pair.

I also like these easy-sew Thai Fisherman's pants from Burdastyle.

If I could knit like the wind, I'd like to make make Mandel by fallmasche-

and the popular Oatmeal Pullover by Jane Richmond.

I'd also like to sew some wide-leg heavy linen pants and either buy or sew some new shorts for the rest of summer. Please share any sewing/diy fashion blogs that you find particularly helpful I could use all the help I can get!
