Take a knitting class with me

I'm teaching three knitting classes in December with my talented friend Laura Wick. The classes are small, so we can spend lots of time with each participant. These classes are for people who already know how to knit, but are looking to expand their skills.

Once again, our workshops are a part of a larger "Festival of Learnshops" that the city of Berea, Kentucky is hosting in December. There are a wide range of classes, from jewlery making to pottery, participants will have the chance to learn a new skill and make a special gift. I'm very pleased to be a part of this event.

For more information about any of these classes, or to register, visit the berea.com website.  All of the classes include the knitting patterns and materials, so you will leave with a mostly-finished gift.

First up, Knit your first Lace Scarf on December 3 from 9:30-12:30

We'll be working on a deceptively simple scarf that Laura designed, using super-soft wool yarn.

Next, Knit your First Hat on December 3 from 2:00-5:00 PM

This chunky hat with an optional point on the top can be knit up in an evening and would make a cozy gift.

Finally, knit three holdiay ornaments on December 10 from 9:30-12:30

These sweet ornaments are a great intro to knitting toys, plus, who wouldn't want a monkey in a santa hat on their Christmas tree?

I am looking forward to the classes, please do join us if you are close by!
