I got to do some quality recreational shopping while in Pennsylvania for Christmas. In addition to a couple of thrifted sweaters to take apart for yarn, I got some new/old yarn when we visited Tucker Yarn in downtown Allentown. This shop has been in business for ages and is packed with vintage yarn:
I didn't have any projects in mind, I just grabbed colors that appealed to me. They also have a many vintage kits, and supplies for old school crafts like latch hook and macramé.
Elsewhere, I thrifted a few skeins of wool yarn in 2 shades of green:
and these sweet little bone rings from France:
I was going to use these for knittiing stitch markers, but they form such a perfect little composition, I may just keep them as they are.
I also visited another yarn shop-Yarns R Us in Hamburg, and picked out some more pretty yarn and needles.
