Last Minute

I recently got word one of my little stitchings was juried into the Bluegrass Biennial! Although I am thrilled to be included, I waited until the last possible day to get it in the frame and in the mail-I attached the hanging wire in my car/mobile studio the parking lot of the hardware store:

I really wanted this to be impeccably framed. It's OK, but I think for impeccable I'd have to plan ahead a bit! (Why do I do this to myself?)

Looking forward to seeing this in the gallery along with the other pieces, I'll post photos of the June 5 opening!

That's so lovely. I am always rushing to wire my paintings at the last moment - sometimes the paint on the edges is still wet.
