TA-DA!

The quilt top I've been piecing for my sister Abby is done! (Thanks to Eli and Julian for facilitating the photo...) The background color looks white here, but it is actually a perfect grey pattern.

At 81 inches square, it is the biggest quilt I've made. Just an hour or so after I finished stitching it I whisked it to the quilt shop in Berea, where it will get quilted by their fancy machine quilting rig. I've already got sweet red fabric for the binding, can't wait to see what it will look like all quilted.

Hey, Laura! Your quilt is beautiful-- Abby and Josh are going to love it! It was great to get caught up on your blog and see all of the projects and fun things you have been up to lately (you are some seriously talented sistas!). I am happy you are in your new space and moving on to that chapter. Yipee! Talk to you soon :) Mich
