Think Pink

Though I knew Valentines Day was approaching, it wasn't until we received some love notes in the mail that I remembered the kids and I could make some notes of our own to send to cousins and homeschool friends. We spent a happy 2 hours on Friday cutting and gluing. 

A friend gave us a bunch of large paint chips and I selected some of the red and pink ones for the kids to work with. Avery really likes to glue so I cut hearts and he glued them in place. 

Julian made more complicated notes, like a paper airplane with a trailing banner made of hearts. 

It was fun and different to work with so much pink. 

We actually mailed out our valentines on time, another feat in its own right.
