Free Pattern: Mini Envelope Ornaments
Katie
Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 09:15AM The stocking stuffer for today is a free knitting pattern from our ebook, Handwork for the Holidays. These tiny envelopes are so simple but fun and can be used as a little toy, a tree ornament or as gift packaging- they are just the right size to hold a gift card. Click here for the free pdf pattern. The fronts are cute,

But I really love the backs-

These little envelopes are so speedy to knit up and my boys love opening them up and putting things inside. Don't forget, there are additional free knitting patterns and tutorials for toys and decorations on our Tutorials and Patterns page and several great knitting patterns for gifts and decorations in our ebook, Handwork for the Holidays.

I think this is an absolutely fabulous and so charming. I love this idea and I may try it with felt.
I can't knit or crochet but I love this, think I'll make them out of felt and see how they turn out.
Jessica and Rachelle, that sounds so sweet! I would love to see these in felt.
