New knits in the queue

First off, I wanted to mention that in response to many requests, the knitting patterns from our ebook are now available individually on Ravelry, so if there were only a couple projects that you were drawn to, perhaps that option will work better.

Hooray! I am knitting again. I just finished a fun little cowl that will be a Christmas gift as well as a hat for Julian. I am also well into the work for a new design- it's felted and it is something you wear but I can't give away more details just yet. But meanwhile, here are some things by other designers that I am planning to knit soon.

My friend Laura just had a pattern published through Knit Picks Independent Designer Program. She designed these sweet Colorblock Tea Towels. I love the ruffles! I am thinking about making them to celebrate the completion of my kitchen project! Laura's Colorblock Tea Towel Set.

I just bought the pattern by Brenda Lavell of Phydeaux Designs for the Regalia Cowl, a chunky lace cowl/capelet.

Here's another view-

Stylish, no? Brenda's designs are modern yet classic, and I love her use of bulky yarn. Considering we have had snow flurries two days this week, I want to get going on this one, think it will be a cozy quick knit!

The New Nuno magazine is available and is a great crafting bargain. The theme for this issue is Shades of Gray, which seems fitting today what with the flurries today that were preceded by two days of gray and rainy weather.

Thanks for the mentioning Nuno! Those tea towels are great. I would have a hard time actually using them they are so pretty.

The cowl is really pretty! I love how it knits with the chunky yarn! Lovely!
