Free knitting pattern- Deer Bean Bag
Katie
Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 10:09PM I love this little guy! He's a bona fide bean bag but also a little deer. He is very well camouflaged in the fallen leaves in my backyard.

He is just the right size for little hands to play with.

It only took me about an hour to knit his little body and another hour to make his antlers and ears and put him together, a super-quick knit, great for a gift.
I loved the idea of making a whole menagerie of bean bags so I made a bunch of friends for the little deer-

The frog, rabbit and bird will all be available in our new ebook- Handwork for the Holidays which is now available for pre-order! Please do check it out and let me know what you think! He is darling, as are the other critters. (The birdie's legs--Gah! The bunnies ears--Nibble worthy! The froggie's hoppy feet and cute smile--Adorable!)
THese are so cute! I love them! Jackson loves them too. He says he loves the the blue one. (I didn't even prompt him to say that. :))
Wow, they look so great! I love how they are all animals that hop. Fantastic job on the e-book, what an awesome resource for crafty ladies!
