My family had Katie and Michael's kids for an overnight visit recently. Katie and Michael had a Band of Horses concert in Louisville. It has been a music filled summer for us lucky folks. First Conor Oberst with our sister Abby, then Strider and I got to see Jenny Lewis... Anyway,  look what Katie made for me as a thank you for the child care on the way to and from the city:

It is done with wool recycled from a sweater and knit up with one of Ysolda's patterns. Yet another reason to look forward to cool weather.
