While I have been busily working in my studio this summer, Strider, my husband, has been working on it. I moved in before the drywall mud was dry, so the room is still, ahem...rough around the edges. We left an opening in the wall between our living room and the studio to put a salvadged window in for ventilation and heat flow. This hole has been looking like this for awhile now:

That's Strider on the couch, along with a stitching project of mine, and the back of Isaac's head...but what I really want you to notice is the lovely big window ready to open in the winter and send cozy wood stove heat into my little workspace!
